THE GROUP

Oxford Group has specialised in the teaching of foreign languages and of Italian for foreigners since 1957.

International School of Europe is made up of Oxford Group, Liceo Linguistico Internazionale Oxford and International School of Milan - the latter with branches in Milan, Monza, Modena, Siena and Rome - for decades committed to the education of every age range and user typology.

Still today, the developments of the Group are followed up by the Milanese family Formiga, whose commitment marks the life story of two generations of the family itself.

The wide experience in the teaching sector, the ongoing search for targeted and up-to-date services, as well as the humane and direct teaching method, make International School of Europe, S.r.l. a leading institute in language teaching.

Getting students to communicate correctly and suitably in authentic situations is the main aim of our courses.

Our method is founded on the active participation of the entire class by means of communication activities such as guided conversation, listening and reading exercises, as well as drills on pronunciation and phonetics with the help of innovative didactic methods and aids, constantly updated.

The teachers at Oxford Group are mother-tongue or bilingual graduates, having followed at least three-year courses at University, holders of specific teaching qualifications and directly trained by Oxford Group by means of permanent training.

Oxford Group is an accredited centre for the taking of the TOEIC and Trinity examinations. Furthermore, it organizes preparatory courses for the attaining of international certificates such as Cambridge, TOEFL, DELE, DELF and FiT1.
